Reports To: Corporate Controller
Based in Houston, Texas, the Financial Reporting Manager (FRM) will be primarily responsible for the preparation and timely submission of all SEC filings including Annual Reports on Form 10-K, Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q and Quarterly Earnings Releases. Additionally, the FRM will be responsible for managing all internal reporting processes including our monthly Business Unit Review, our annual budgeting process and our monthly forecasting process. This includes working directly with functional leaders to develop and report both financial and operational metrics as needed. Finally, the FRM will work directly with our third-party Navision and JetReports support team, PKF Texas, to maintain our Navision Accounting System and design standard reports through JetReports, our bolt-on reporting software.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare quarterly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows and Statement of Equity
Prepare all 10-K?s, 10-Q?s, Earnings Releases, 8-K?s and any other required SEC filing ensuring timely submission
Document and maintain procedures for the preparation of such filings ensuring all required SOX controls are satisfied
Assist in the preparation of any other required SEC or public filing, as needed, including our Annual Proxy Statement and SEC Comment Response Letters
Work directly with Executive Team to develop and facilitate our annual budget process including developing budget methodologies and assumptions, designing budget templates, drafting instructions and working directly with our five regional teams to ensure timely completion.
Work directly with Executive Team to develop and facilitate our monthly forecast process, a more condensed version of our annual budget process.
Work with all functional leaders to design and prepare our monthly Business Unit Review, which includes both financial and operational presentations from all departments/functions
Design, or work directly with PKF to design all JetReports required by the Accounting/Finance Department or any other department to analyze and manage the business
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor?s degree in finance, accounting or related field; Master's degree a plus
C.P.A. License is a plus
Minimum five (5) years hands-on experience in finance and accounting functions
Minimum three (3) years of SEC reporting or Public Accounting experience
Experience in a Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) control environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Applications; Excel, Word and PowerPoint a MUST HAVE
Hands-on knowledge of financial and accounting software; Navision and/or JetReports a plus
Great interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment
Ability to cross-train in other Accounting/Finance roles in order to ensure proper segregation of duties and maintain SOX compliance
Candidate should be eager to learn and develop their financial reporting and analytical skills
Candidate should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, continuously growing and evolving environment

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.

This position requires a moderate amount of stamina with the ability to perform the above essential job functions and within timetables. Some overtime work may be required.
The employee must be able to lift up to 5 lbs. frequently and up to 15 lbs. occasionally for short durations.

The employee will in most cases work in a central air-conditioned building; however, may be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and to changes of weather when exposed to outdoors at job sites or other locations.
