(14R-022) REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER RigNet
Reports To: Region Vice President, North America Onshore
Location: Houston, Texas
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for managing a mix of services, products and regular visits to key account clients and develop new clients by actively pursuing sales of equipment and systems across a wide variety of telecommunications and electronics applications. The talented sales professional will focus on new business development by selling ?RigNet?s technology, products and services? our voice and data telecommunication products and services to C-level and Director level decision makers. The Candidate will be the driving force for securing new customers and new business regionally for RigNet across North America. This position will carry a regional sales responsibility and quota. This position performs inbound & outbound sales calls in order to quote prices and place orders for the Company's products and services, to ensure sales goals are met. Using a consultative sales approach, answers customer's questions on pricing, availability, information on products, and any shipping or service issues related to orders placed.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver on revenue and account objectives.
Work with other departments to plan strategies and coordinate efforts in order to meet the required sales targets and forecasts.
Maintain close liaison with the technical/projects personnel regarding any quotations that involve an engineering input.
Maintain communication with the Network Operation Center (NOC) and involvement with any customer service issues
Maintain accurate sales funnel reports and other documentation
Other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
5+ years of successful experience in professional sales in the areas of telecommunication and software products
Able to obtain appointments with key executives for target accounts
Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with our clients and prospective clients
Able to effectively handle stressful situations in a professional manner
The ability and willingness to travel domestically as required to maximize the effectiveness with the accounts and customer requests.
