JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a senior lead position responsible for the design and development of an UI framework and new features for Agiliance's flagship product, RiskVision. Implement key UI enhancements for upcoming releases and provide improvements and fixes to existing versions. Expand the scope, scale, performance, and reliability of the product. Use judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions. Work cohesively with product management, documentation, and QA and Support organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop new software components and features
Write high level design documents
Participate in and contribute to UI design and prototyping
Gather end user requirements through collaborative discussions with product management and support
Ongoing development, support, and maintenance of RiskVision.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
7 - 10 years of relevant industry experience with references
Solid user interface design and development
Experience in developing rich client interfaces
Strong interest in user experience and human computer interaction
Strong working knowledge of J2EE, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, cross-browser development and JavaScript libraries like PrototypeJS, jQuery, DWR, etc.
Experience with Reporting Frameworks like Jasper is a plus
Experience with SpringSecurity is a plus
Problem solving capabilities and analytical skills
Solid knowledge and application of engineering concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Enthusiasm to learn new tools and technologies

LOCATION

The position is based at Agiliance's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California
COMPENSATION

Compensation package consistent with stage of company and individuals track record will include cash compensation (base and variable), benefits, and equity.
