JOB DESCRIPTION
The mission of our professional services team is to make our customers and partners successful and referenceable. The role of the Software Engineer requires excellent customer facing skills and technical expertise to resolve issues and be able to develop custom modules. To be successful in this role, you are a backend or frontend engineer that has a willingness and aptitude to cross-train and execute outside of your comfort zone. At the end of the day, you are a jack of all trades. This is an excellent opportunity to be a member of a highly visible team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop custom modules for use by customers.
Triage, prioritize, and resolve customer issues in Agiliance RiskVision.
Provide technical assistance to Agiliance customers, field engineers and partners' customers in deploying Agiliance RiskVision platform products in their environment to meet their security, risk and compliance management needs.
REQUIREMENTS
BS in CS, IT or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience working with enterprise product.
Programming experience in Java, Groovy, JSP and HTML.
Database experience in MySQL, MS-SQL and Oracle.
Understanding of web technologies (Apache, HTTP, WebServices, JDBC, SQL).
Experience with scalable, enterprise grade systems.
Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem solver and fast learner.
Willingness to travel.
Strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Team player as well as strong individual contributor.
Strong knowledge and keen interest in emerging technologies in the industry.
LOCATION
The position is based at Agiliance's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
COMPENSATION
Compensation package consistent with stage of company and individuals track record will include cash compensation (base and variable), benefits, and equity.
