JOB DESCRIPTION
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales in your territory and developing long-lasting and impactful channel relationships. The Director of Sales will play an integral part in the development of Agiliance's growth strategy, annual sales and marketing plans, and strategic business plan in order to meet or exceed annual sales targets. We expect you will drive a disciplined and transformative solution-selling process including lead to opportunity management, strategic account planning, and competitive know-how to accelerate business. The Sales Director will report directly to Agiliance's Vice President of Sales. Candidates without proven security software sales experience will not be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct sales and channel sales management responsibility for assigned territory and revenue goal for license, maintenance, and professional services.
Initiate, establish, and maintain contact with team members, prospects, clients, and partners within assigned territory.
Develop recommendations for growth, opportunities for growth, and key target accounts in the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain a complete knowledge of Agiliance products, content, and services.
Become proficient in Agiliance offerings and know when to engage pre-sales assistance.
Expand current and build new systems integrator and consulting partner go-to-market plans to scale business development and channel sales.
Accurately forecast and manage deal closure.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
7 to 10 years of selling experience.
Proven solution selling experience with security and / or enterprise software solutions. Candidates without proven security software sales experience will not be considered.
Strong systems integrator teaming and relationship management experience.
Strong resale channel development and management experience.
Team selling and shared territory management experience.
Clear communications and executive level presentation skills.
Ability and willingness to perform high-level product demonstrations.
Prior experience with CRM solutions such as Salesforce.com.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Travel: an average of one to two weeks per month.
Personality: team player, communicative, polished, trustworthy, hungry, Agiliance fit.
LOCATION
Positions exist in multiple locations nationwide, with emphasis in the West, North-Central, and North-East regions. Only Candidates who reside in these areas should apply as no relocation assistance is available.
COMPENSATION
Your compensation package will be consistent with the stage of the company and the individual's track record. Compensation will include cash components (base and variable), benefits, and equity. No relocation assistance.
