Conduct client organizational studies and evaluations, design risk management systems and risk operational procedures, conduct client risk work stream simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist risk management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Assist clients in deploying Governance Risk and Control (GRC) solutions to meet their security, risk and compliance management needs.
Understand financial service stakeholder business needs and requirements and advise them appropriately on the optimum system solution.
Work with Financial Services companies to facilitate the acceptance of system solutions with business users.
Be an internal resource of knowledge on how best to develop Enterprise Governance Risk and Control Solutions at Financial Service Organizations.
Scope implementation projects. Estimate effort and timeline to complete projects. Develop and present SOWs.
Plan and manage implementation projects. Track milestone completion and project issues.
Provide status reports to customers / partners and to internal management.
Facilitate stakeholder sessions on requirements definition, product architecture and workflow.
Lead training sessions with stakeholders and system users.
Utilize knowledge to continue to enhance GRC solutions for financial services organizations.
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management or a related field and 2 years of experience performing Operational risk management at a global financial institution. The required work experience must include the following:
- Working with investment professionals from across the product spectrum; such as equities, fixed income, multi-asset, cash, securities lending, transitions and alternatives; in the development of global governance and operational risk frameworks; including internal operating events, external events, key risk indicators, risk and control self-assessments, issues and actions and governance risk and control reporting.
- Development and maintenance of systems to support global governance and operational risk frameworks, including management of key stakeholders, development of user specifications, training, resolution of bugs, scoping, management and delivery of enhancement projects, new system modules, system upgrades, and hardware updates.
Domestic and international travel is required.
Drug Testing/Screening, Background Checks, Reference Checks, and Motor Vehicle Record Check are required.
The position is based at Agiliance's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
Compensation package consistent with stage of company and individuals track record will include cash compensation (base and variable), benefits, and equity.
