Our Alpha stage start-up company is looking for a lead developer to drive the expansion of a hybrid social networking and search engine site that will greatly improve the experience for all web users. We have just released our initial product. The resource will be an integral member of a core team of seasoned executives with significant experience in digital media, technology development, and growing software companies through venture-funding. He or she will be expected to contribute to the overall company direction.

Our existing product is built on the .NET 2.0 framework with web 2.0 technologies driving the user interface.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience programming with C, ASP.NET, and LINQ as well as knowledge of web technologies including but not limited to html, css, javascript, and AJAX. In addition, experience working with Telerik AJAX controls and jquery is a plus. Experience in designing and developing public-facing Web applications is highly valued.

You will have a great deal of flexibility in terms of setting your hours and working remotely, but will operate in a fast-paced environment and be expected to deliver on time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop world-class user interfaces and capabilities based on the existing product design
- Thoroughly test and integrate capabilities
= Contribute to product strategy and vision

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience for a start-up entity. Will be a mix of cash and equity.

Flexible Location:	Work can be done remotely with web conferencing as needed. Company is based in the Washington DC area.
