The Software Developer will be responsible for developing PrimeSUITE functionality that will directly serve PrimeSuite Active Device Control integration, Active Document Import integration and the PrimeIMAGE product. The Software Developer works with Greenway internal and extended center development teams to design and build functionality.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
? Work with other developers, product managers & QA in solving new and existing technical issues
Assist in the research of new diagnostic device communications methods and data formats.
Develop new Device Controls in accordance with the device specifications and PrimeSuite design.
Maintain existing Device Control functionality based on feedback from users and/or Greenway QA and Product design specialists.
Assist in the compilation of technical and training documentation of Device Integration functionality.
Provide all levels of support for Device Control integrations as well as assist in the training of Greenway support personnel when necessary.
Communicate with customers and vendors to gather feedback on integration functionality.
? Understand requirements, implement designs, provide administration tools and technical documentation for specific projects
? Perform regular on-call duties
? Perform unit testing on own work and the work of others
? Participate in Design and Code Reviews
? Follow and enhance existing development processes
? Measure and verify that new and old code has acceptable performance and scalability
? Maintain ownership of the projects assigned
? Consistently meet project deadlines
Requirements, Skills & Abilities:
? Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
? Three (2) to five (4) years of .NET and Object Oriented programming experience
? Four (4) plus years of experience in general software development methodologies
? Four (4) plus years of collaborative development experience
? Strong experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle
? Team-oriented experience highly desired
? Superb attention to detail
? Very good oral and written communication skills regardless of audience
? Knowledgeable in VB.NET, C#.NET, VBScript, ASP, ASP.Net
? Familiarity and understanding of XHTML, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript, and Web Standards-based layout
? SQL Server experience highly desired
