PaySimple is looking for a .NET Developer, who will help us expand and maintain a WCF-based Payment and Invoicing Services Gateway written using a combination of C#, .NET, ADO, nHibernate, and SQL. This position will be a key member of the Gateway Services team, and will share design, development, and support responsibilities within the team in the delivery of Gateway Services in a high-volume, transaction processing environment.
Responsibilities:
Proficient in developing new software using state-of-the-art languages and tools
Work within a SaaS environment
Drive innovation within team and company
Contribute to overall architecture and design, working closely with the lead architect
Hands on development, plus contributing to the overall software life cycle including participating in code reviews, setting coding standards and introducing new technologies to the team
Work with Quality Assurance and developers to ensure software builds meet system, functional and performance requirements and adhere to corporate polices such as security and privacy
Participate in the design and planning of enhancements to existing products and development of new products
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, as well as in an Agile development environment
Qualifications:
4+ years experience developing web-based, n-tiered systems in a .NET/SQL Server environment (C# required)
Must have experience with .NET 3.5 & 4.0 and ADO.NET
Solid understanding and experience with software installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes
Understanding of the release management and software development lifecycles
Strong skills and knowledge of relational database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008
Must have a solid understanding of Services-Oriented Architecture and Distributed Architectures
Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) , AppFabric, and/or nHibernate a strong plus.
A background in Transaction Processing and/or Payment Systems is a strong plus
Experience with PCI Compliance preferred
MS/BS in Computer Science or related field preferred, or sufficient comparable experience
