As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for evaluation and implementation of new technology initiative; architecture and development of applications, meeting systems development lifecycle and best-practice requirements; Works closely with a development team and business units to assist in the design of functional specifications; technical analysis and design, application development and deployment to support business requirements. As a .Net Developer you will also provide innovative leadership and skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
Additional responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Participate in the collection of business requirements and analyze complexity to recommend efficient and cost effective solutions
Architect solutions to meet business needs
Provide technical support for business critical applications.
Perform root cause analysis for issues in production environment.
Prepare documentation (user manuals) and training material for end users.
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of experience, with at least 2-to-4 years hands-on experience working in the .NET environment including experience with C#, ASP.NET, XML/JSON.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server.
Experience creating and consuming web services
Thorough understanding of object oriented programming.
Thorough understanding of SaaS and multi-tenant architecture.
Solid experience with appropriate tools such as Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Ability to reverse engineer existing technologies
Have experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with the .Net MVC framework is a plus
Domain experience in employee benefits, payroll or HRIS is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Flexibility, initiative and a desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Relocation is not available for this position.
