We are currently searching for a .NET Developer at our offices in Glenview, IL to develop and maintain web-based and windows-based applications in a 24 x 7 web-based financial services environment. This individual will work closely with other development professionals on a small, dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position include:
Develop and maintain innovative software solutions using industry best practices in a team of high-performing professionals
Participate in group business improvement activities and initiatives to improve quality and pursue excellence
Collaborate in a team environment on requirements, design, and code reviews
Write and execute unit tests
Maintain and support mission-critical applications as necessary
Utilize multiple internet, server, and desktop technologies including but not limited to the following: C#, .NET, MVC, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008, Visual Basic.NET, Visual Basic 6.0, Classic ASP, VBScript, ADO, ADO.NET, IIS, COM+, HTML, Team Foundation Server, MS Visio and MS Word
Work closely with business analyst(s) to understand requirements and develop solutions that adhere to industry and SurePayroll standards
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem solving abilities and is passionate about software development. They are a natural relationship builder and collaborator and also understand the importance of a positive, seamless customer experience. In addition, they are eager to learn and stay abreast of the latest technologies and are willing to adopt best practices.

Requirements:
This individual must have 5 or more years of work experience designing, building and supporting multilayered enterprise applications using MS technologies for public facing web applications. They should also have experience developing software with C#, .NET, MVC,ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008, Visual Basic.NET, Visual Basic 6.0, Classic ASP, VBScript, ADO, ADO.NET, IIS, COM+, HTML, Team Foundation Server, MS Visio and MS Word.
