Responsibilities:
As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for:
Implementing substantial new functionality as well as maintaining existing products and solving complex problems
Support quality into the design and implementation process
Interpret functional requirements
Creating detailed functional specifications
Interact with constituents to obtain technical details regarding problems or new development
Act as a mentor to Junior Developers
Provide training to other groups within department
Document process or procedures within IT department
Interact with other departments (e.g., product marketing, operations) to gather product requirements.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Experience with report writing tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Cognos, etc.
Have experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, entrepreneurial environment
Be able to consistently produce high-quality software
Ability to reverse engineer existing technologies
Have a minimum 5+ years experience, with at least 2-to-4 years hands-on experience working in the .NET environment including experience with C#, ASP.NET, XML and SQL in a SQL Server environment
Have a thorough understanding of object oriented programming;web-based technologies, including HTML, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax.; SaaS and multi-tenant architecture.
Have Solid experience with appropriate tools such as Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
