Job DescriptionMaxPoint Interactive is seeking a highly motivated recent graduate to help develop our front end systems that drive the real-time bidding and delivery of web-based advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is thrilled by the thought of developing highly scalable software applications that participate in billions of advertising decisions a day. This individual will work on a team of talented engineers responsible for the full lifecycle of the production software applications in our front end systems. Optimizing our applications for scale and speed in imaginative and innovative ways will be a primary function of this position.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain the software applications that drive our front end systems
Provide unit tests for these software applications
Participate in multi-disciplinary projects
Contribute to our team?s growing set of development platforms, tools, and processes
Preferred Skills
Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Experience with highly scalable systems is desired
Experience working with databases and scripting languages
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Any experience with ASP.NET/HTML/CSS under IIS is a plus
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Recent or future college graduate with BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or other technical discipline with significant computer coursework)
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Those needing sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for hire as we are not able to sponsor visas at this time
A minimum 3.25 GPA required
Experience developing applications with a preference to developing them in C# and using Microsoft platform technologies
