Join an experienced team of .Net developers spread across multiple locations working on the NextGen Rating products. Are you a self-starter and a team player who has high tolerance to change? If so, you?ll be able to work with a group of like-minded developers and be part of a team that values high energy, initiative and collaboration.--This role is currently located in Moorpark, CA, however the office will be relocating to Woodland Hills in early 2013--
This is an amazing opportunity to develop a brand new rating product for our 40,000 rating customers. Very few developers get to work on an entirely new product during their entire career. Projects like this happen mostly in start-ups, but they are rarely successful because of limited resources. The NextGen team gets incredible resources from Vertafore and we are working with our customers to make sure we build something that is both technologically amazing and useful.
As a .Net Software Engineer, we want you to contribute your talents to these projects:
Collaborate with Vertafore UX and UI teams to implement state of the art User interface for NextGen
Work with Vertafore architects to develop NextGen integration architecture with other Vertafore products
Team up with content developers to create and map insurance premium requests and responses for thousands of insurance companies throughout the US
Qualifications desired to impact our product and your success include:
Expertise in the C#.net technology stack.
Strong UI skills: CSS, HTML5, JQuery or ExtJS, ASP.net MVC
Excellent understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation
Agile development methodology preferred
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

--This role is currently located in Moorpark, CA, however the office will be relocating to the San Fernando Valley in early 2013--
