We are seeking an experienced, energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking Web Developer to perform sophisticated Web Programming and Administration to develop, design and administer company-side and server-side web applications over http protocol using http server, a web server and an http client and web browser. Candidate will work independently, with individual responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of applications, while working in an environment of change and growth, with exposure to and learning of cutting-edge technology. Candidate will also adhere to existing design/development/QA methodologies and analyze requirements and develop while maintaining the integrity of existing applications.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Web site architecture design
Source code management
Web site design/development/testing/debugging (module level)
Web server configuration, performance, and optimization
Unit Testing
Provide documentation as required
On call responsibilities as required for production issues
Involvement in Production Systems Issue Analysis and Resolution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of application development, primarily using C#, ASP.Net, MVC, .NET 3.5 or higher, SQL Server, CMS
Minimum 1 - 2 years of SQL Server experience
Minimum 1 - 2 years of JavaScript/JQuery and AJAX development experience
Minimum 1 - 2 years experience creating, parsing, validating, and transforming XML data
Web service experience, including development and consuming web services, including the ability to understand and create WSDL files
Solid oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to acquire technical knowledge and skills quickly
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment under aggressive timelines
Demonstrated ability across the full project life cycle
Full life-cycle experience in a global multi-tiered system, preferably in the financial industry
Demonstrates initiative and is a self-starter
Knowledge of version control tools such as Subversion
