Every month, over 30 million visitors come to Nextag for the best shopping experience. The Account Executive, Japan will be responsible for outbound sales and account management for Nextag.com. Key responsibilities of this position include identifying and closing deals with new customers, expanding SKUs and the number of companies listed on nextag.co.jp, and growing revenue from existing customers, as well as handling resolution of account issues and help our Japan business grow. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify new customer prospects and manage/expand existing merchant relationships.
Revenue growth and engagement strategies for assigned merchants.
Perform rigorous analysis of strategies and account performance.
React to industry and competitive trends.
Perform entire sales/account management cycles including solicitation, contract negotiation, closing, account review and monetization to increase our revenue/margin.
Make sure customer service and operational issues are resolved for assigned accounts.
Communicate information on pricing, programs and policies to assigned merchants.
Support deployment of new merchant marketing and merchandising programs and services.
Extensive large account management experience, retail or e-commerce experience preferred.
Excellent knowledge of the online shopping industry with experience in CPA, CPM, CPC business models desirable.
Extensive negotiating and relationship building experience.
Previous responsibility for sales/revenue objectives including outbound sales and cold calls.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong business judgment with analytical, quantitative and technical skills.
Demonstrated ability and a strong will to drive new customer-facing features and programs.
Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
Flexibility and ability to work autonomously in a demanding and ambiguous environment.
