Position Summary
The key objective of this position is to identify and articulate the joint value of Pentaho and Partner products/services to create and execute marketing programs and content that drive incremental demand generation and Pentaho PR and awareness with key partners. This role will support Pentaho?s key vertical, alliances and business development sales management to create and leverage programs with partners to drive business. This is a very out-bound oriented Partner Marketing role ? the successful candidate must be extremely comfortable working closely with our sales and partners. Initially, this role will focus on a select few technology partnerships, SI?s, and Federal/Public Sector partners.
The Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying marketing opportunities with key partners that maximize ROI for invested time. The role will work closely with demand generation team to coordinate and manage partner related programs. This includes developing joint value propositions and content for marketing programs and web assets.
Although a plus for the candidate to have knowledge and expertise in big data, data integration, or business analytics, most important is understanding how to identify and articulate the joint value of a partner/Pentaho solution. The candidate must be able to move beyond traditional features/benefits product marketing and take a solutions approach when working with partners.

Position Responsibilities: (Senior) Partner Marketing Manager
Manage marketing efforts with Pentaho Partners to identify, prioritize and execute on opportunities that deliver the most value for investment of Pentaho time and resources. An emphasis must be on prioritizing, communicating, planning and program development.
Responsibilities include:
Working with key vertical, alliances and business development sales management to prioritize and evaluate opportunities with partners and execute with demand generation team based on maximum ROI for marketing investment
Be a strong advocate and spokesperson for Pentaho with partners making Pentaho the #1 choice of business and big data analytics partners in the ecosystem
Identify and anticipate partner product launch efforts and industry marketing campaigns to position Pentaho early and often as the "go to" partner
Ability to say ?yes? and ?no? to partner opportunities based on marketing priorities and resources while maintaining positive partner relationships
Position Qualifications
Results-driven, marketing professional with a proven ability to use resources efficiently to deliver marketing programs with partners that achieve or exceed business goals.
Minimum of five (5) years of related partner/program or field marketing experience with a track record of engaging with sales and partners to drive successful programs
Expertise and a proven track record of successfully prioritizing multiple marketing partners and optimizing results
Bachelor?s degree in marketing, technical or related field; MBA is a plus
Strong account management, creative problem solving and analytical skills
Must love to work with partners and sales to generate sales opportunities, Federal/Public Sector expertise a plus
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and specifically execute partner programs
Influence co-workers while fostering strong working relationships
Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation skills
Objectivity and openness to others' views and continuously builds a positive team spirit
