Position Summary
(Senior) Power Management IC designer dedicated to design bias power supplies for TFT/LCD panels.
Primary Responsibilities
Main Role: Design IC Blocks dedicated to TFT/LCD bias PMIC.
Performs any of the following:
Select adequate circuit structures
Provide adequate Design Plannings to design leaders and team managers
IC Blocks Design Execution
Design documentation and reviews
Support for integration in IC top level
In Lab Debug and Evaluation
Support IC Qualification
Features:
Low dropout linear regulators
Switch Mode Power Supplies
Battery Chargers
References Systems : Bandgaps, Current Sources, Comparators
All these features will be integrated using BCD technology (0.35um, 0.25um)

The candidate should have a strong willingness to provide innovative circuit design solutions
The created IP blocks must be re-usable, to gain efficiency and reliability over projects
Applies knowledge and advanced analytical and/or technical interpretation to resolve a variety of complex problems
Design and guide the layout of key analog circuits
Job Qualifications
More than 5 years experience in the design of linear analog and/or switching power management
Experience with CMOS / BiCMOS analog circuit design
Knowledge of low voltage, low quiescent current or power optimization design techniques will be appreciated
Good documentation and communication skills and the ability to work independently and with others in a distributed environment with engineers in several locations
Candidate should demonstrate a true motivation to work with a team to bring new ideas in the power management and audio domain that will help to override the competition
Candidate must have a Master or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (or comparable level)
Desired Skills
Experience with Cadence EDA tools
Experience in the use of SPICE or Spectre simulation for circuit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience to use diverse laboratory tools for silicon evaluation
Experience with Linux workstation environment
