THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Job Description: Panaya, a fast growing successful company is seeking a superstar Regional Sales Director to manage an entire state of the art ?Sales 2.0? process in the LATAM region.
The Sales Director is responsible for managing a team of regional sales managers for the LATAM region, converting a substantial number of enterprise opportunities into long term customers through a short and efficient sale cycle and by nurturing ?C? level relationships.
As a Regional Sales director you will be responsible for new customer acquisitions and long term account management within the territory ensuring growth in all revenue streams.
The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for planning, expanding, developing, and leading Panaya business in a specific regional territory or industry segment within North or Latin America and leading its sales team.
Build a sales and GTM strategy for the sub-region / segment which includes:
Analysis of revenues/products
Strategy for growth
Objectives and implementation schedules
as part of and in sync with the general plan for the entire region and in alignment with the company strategy.
Recruit, train, build and lead a team of Sales Reps (5-6 directly or up to 3-4 Sales Team Leaders)
Supervise the Tele Sales representatives; Carry a quota and drive sales
Maintain executive level relationships with strategic customers to ensure long term business expansion
Maintain and update sales progess reports and other administrative reporting mechanisms according to agreed time frames and formats
Interface with various departments (marketing, sales, finance, HR) to ensure that work processes for that specific territory / segment run smoothly and are in sync
At least five years of experience in direct sales to large enterprise customers, with proven, successful track record of generating revenue and closing business. Experience in selling software in an advantage.
At least three years of experience in managing sales teams
At least five years in sales to the LATAM market.
Excellent language skills ? Spanish & Portuguese mother tongue and fluent English

Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks. Advantage: Prior experience of multiple-opportunity management
Ability to communicate and interact with senior executives / ?C? level
Positive and energetic attitude with ambitious, upbeat, highly creative, self-motivated personality
Reports to: Head of Americas Sales
