Job Summary:
Key engineering position involved in evolving the PacketSmart SaaS application server software and embedded software agents that run on the PacketSmart appliances and third-party devices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will require a candidate with strong C programming skills with prior experience in building multi-threaded server-class Linux/UNIX applications as well as writing resource-efficient embedded software on Linux platforms. The key responsibilities include:

- Enhancing the PacketSmart SaaS platform to add new product functionalities
- Porting embedded agents to multiple third party appliances
- Add Deep Packet Inspection support for VoIP and Video protocols
- Design and develop java and web2.0 GUI front-ends
- Design and develop APIs for third-party data integration

WORK COMPLEXITY:

- Will need to work closely with, and guide off-shore India-based team with a 12 hour time difference while ensuring smooth communication and full accountability
