Due to strong growth in enterprise sales, we are reviewing qualifications for a motivated Global Account Manager to join our sales organization.
In this role an experienced, motivated sales representative will be responsible for driving new business with Global 500 customers and prospects. They will manage all aspects of building and maintaining a sales pipeline for the region within a targeted list of multinational, multidivisional companies. Core activities include creating and managing a strategic account penetration plan; planning daily-weekly-monthly sales activity, create and execute campaigns targeting prospects; orchestrating resources internal and external to the regional team; qualifying prospects; performing web-based demonstrations; and using a sales force automation tools to manage regional sales activity.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
- Proven track record in both creating and developing major accounts.
- Prior experience selling software development lifecycle tools, ideally for Agile software development processes.
- Knowledge of methods such as Scrum, XP or Lean.
- The ability to listen, probe and communicate complex technology and value propositions.
- A hunter' sales mentality with experience exceeding sales quota.
- Experience with individual and team selling approaches.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and persuasive confidence.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com and web based applications.
- Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally.
