Job Responsibilities
The Web Application tester is responsible for creating and implementing test acceptance criteria, manual testing, recording defects, evaluating test data, problem discovery and managing defects. This is a key role on the engineering team helping to guide development and define acceptance tests.
The ideal candidate will have an innate curiosity about how things work and the drive to improve them. Our QA team tends to do far more ad hoc/exploratory testing than (more traditional)writing & execution of test cases so the ability to discover appropriate non-happy path scenarios from User Story acceptance criteria is an important part of success in this role.

Qualifications
3+ years of QA experience testing rich, browser-based user interfaces required.
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of software testing methodology.
Comfortable with Oracle or other relational databases.
Strong team-oriented, interpersonal, and communication skill.
The ability to work side by side with developers in a continuous build and test environment.
Desire to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment with high degree of adaptability.
Must be highly motivated, self-driven, and have the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Experience with Agile Software Development Methods desired.
Experience with automated testing a plus.
