10:30-003: Accounts Payable Accountant - Boulder Rally Software Development

Responsibilities will include:

Receive, verify, and process employee expense reports and invoices including corporate credit card transactions.
Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments.
Set up vendors and collect W-9 forms.
Reconcile vendor accounts; Research and resolve discrepancies or other payment issues with vendors.
Perform month-end activities such as expense accruals and other close activities as required.
Maintain vendor files and prepare 1099 filings on an annual basis.
Administrative duties such as copying and filing.
Special projects/duties as needed.
Qualifications
Accounting background and minimum 5 years of full-cycle A/P work experience required.
A take-charge individual who can operate both independently and in a team environment.
Strong time management skills and proven ability to learn quickly on-the-job.
Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
Customer service oriented: Responds to questions and emails; Addresses invoice issues promptly and escalates as needed.
Ability to interact professionally with different personalities (internal and external to company).
Ability to assess, recommend and implement process improvements.
Detail Oriented
Organized
Efficient
PC and ERP systems literacy; Excel required.
The following experience is a plus although not required: Prior experience with sales and use tax filings; Expense reporting; Broad experience with multiple accounting software packages.
