13R-075 SERVICE MANAGER - DENVER AREA RigNet
Manage the fulfillment of services to North American oil and gas customers.
Directly supervise Service Coordinators and Regional Leads in a consistent manner which aligns with company policies and applicable government regulations.
Act as liaison for Operations Team within the RigNet Organization.
Work closely with Lafayette Leadership Team to advance the Lafayette Office into the most profitable, safest, and environmentally sound region within RigNet Inc.
Manage the complex operations of RigNet?s service division.
Manage the implementation of technology solutions to improve processes and procedures.
Supervise RigNet?s vehicle fleet through GPS tracking and analysis of service metrics.
Manage a positive relationship between RigNet and customers to ensure customer retention and the growth of new opportunities.
Maintain constant awareness of RigNet?s business objectives to ensure they are being communicated, supported and protected through any and all contracts and service agreements.
Develop regional goals, manage improvement projects, and oversee organizational metrics.
Be aware of any change management events and how they will affect operations.
Assist Operations team with billing and invoicing processes.
Develop and implement solutions for improved operational efficiency.
Manage the office and warehouse leases for regional service centers.
Manage the growth of North American service operations including the hiring, vetting, and interviewing prospective employees.
Constant review of currently provided services and a continual search for areas of improvement to benefit both RigNet and its customers.
Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly presentation of service management activities to upper management.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 4 yr. degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
Engineering or Technology concentration preferred.
Technical qualifications, certificates or training in engineering, VSAT, Seatel and communications are advantageous.
Project Management certifications are advantageous.
10 yrs. Experience in Operations and/or Project Management in the oil and gas industry preferred
Experience in the Energy, Maritime and Communications sector desirable
Self-starter and goal oriented
Proven high-level written and verbal communication skills
Effectively present information to top management
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Problem solver who can handle constant change
