It will be this position that Recommends/awards the approved carrier quotes based on department criteria. Manages the daily negotiations with approved carriers as well as maintains the visibility needed to get the information necessary to plan accordingly.This department, is led by a new VP who is committed to creating a synergistically balanced team, where each member is empowered to chart their course for success.

Responsible for the daily quoting and cost planning activities of Integra?s request for communication services from approved carriers for internal and external customer requests. Based on Access Management policies, this position, quotes approved carriers? products and services, to ensure the optimal solution is selection to give the company the best position in be awarded each opportunity quoted. In addition, the individual will continuously research trends, opportunities for improvements in costs, products, and utilizing network infrastructure. The selected individual will work with Engineering, Offer Management, Product, Marketing, Service Delivery, Sales and other required internal teams. The individual shall plan and quote metro and long haul private line, voice, internet, and Ethernet quoting activities include, individual manual and automatic quote requests, RFP (Request For Purchase) responses, cost reductions, costing reports, negotiations of price and products while maintaining excellent vendor and internal stakeholder relationships.

?Obtain, validate and process approved carriers? quotes for internal and end users communications requirements
?Maintain costing catalogs, reporting and repository systems and tools for planning and quoting activities
?Utilize quoting data to identify cost improvement plans from approved carriers
?Utilize Access Management policies for selection criteria is fair and balanced
?Keep up to date selection criteria guidelines including all costing changes, industry related data, approved carriers data and materials
MUST have skills:
?3 years in quoting, sales support, or planning/optimization experience with a facilities based communication company
?Working experience with communication hierarchy and Layer 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI model
?Experience of successful completion of end to end RFP process
?Working knowledge of regional and national long haul networks and how to utilize other carriers? networks.
?Bachelor?s degree or equivalent (business, technical or project management)
?5 years in quoting, sales support, or planning/optimization experience with a facilities based Communication company
?Experience in sourcing communication services, and negotiations to achieve more favorable terms and conditions
?Experience in creating, and utilizing data for improvement plans including cost savings, or network expansions
?Experience working in a constantly evolving, dynamic environment
