Overview of Role
viagogo ? the international ticket exchange? is growing quickly and is looking to hire intelligent and talented people to help expand our growing North American business.
The Account Associate role offers a unique opportunity for entry-level candidates to take on big responsibilities and directly affect our success. As a Account Associate, your main responsibility will be to use viagogo?s systems and in-house expertise to manage the sales of sports, music, theater, and other live event tickets.
As with all of the positions in our small, rapidly-growing company, you will also be given the opportunity to help with other tasks, such as building detailed reports for our partners, creating marketing initiatives that help drive sales, or interfacing with our operations team to evolve the systems that make us successful.
You will build on your strengths, develop new skills, and be part of the core team that expands viagogo?s growing presence in North America. Throughout it all, you?ll work with fun people who are committed to helping fans gain access to tickets to the best live events in the world!
The Person:
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Reliable ? if you say you?ll do something, it gets done and done really well
Organized with strong attention to detail
A desire to drive for results
A sense of humour and positive, ?make-it-work? attitude
Located in or around the San Francisco Bay Area ? note that we will not relocate candidates
Must be eligible to work in the US
Responsibilities:
Manage listings and sales of ticket inventory, meeting or exceeding sales and service goals
Use data analytics to improve and refine your work daily
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key client contacts
Deliver detailed reports on your sales efforts, for both internal use and for delivery to partners
Contribute to our collaborative team environment by providing constructive feedback to your manager and peers regarding successes and best practices
Essential Experience / Skills:
1 to 2 years professional experience preferred
Experience and/or interest in the travel, music, sports, or hospitality industries
Will consider applicants without previous experience if they can prove their ambition and their ability to learn quickly
Must be great with standard office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and be a quick study on new software tools
Bachelors Degree from a four year accredited college
