Gnip, the world's largest provider of social data, is actively seeking an experienced account executive who will be responsible for managing and expanding Gnip's existing customer relationships, which range from startups to large enterprises. We're growing our new offices in New York and you can be on the ground floor.
We're looking for an experienced sales rep/account manager to own a segment of Gnip's customer relationships. This role combines elements of sales and account management and requires the ability to manage a set of sophisticated, highly demanding customers. You will work closely with Gnip's product, sales and support teams to help our customers better understand and utilize our expanding list of offerings.
3-5 years experience in a Sales and/or Account Management role, preferably with a Saas product
Knowledge of social media analytics and business intelligence (BI)
Demonstrated ability to work well with sales, product and customer success/support teams
CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are not afraid to get on the phone to solve problems quickly
Work with current Gnip customers to understand their products and their business
Serve as a consultative expert in Gnip's products and publisher partners and upsell as appropriate
Act as the customer's advocate within Gnip and work with the Product team to identify and evaluate customer requests
