Account Director - London Account Management | London, United Kingdom Marin Software is experiencing rapid growth and is searching for an Account Director who will have the responsibility for portfolio of strategic agency and direct clients using Marin Software's products, mentoring account managers on key account management and contract negotiation. Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for managing portfolio of strategic agency and direct clients using Marin Software's products
Forge client relationships at all levels, but with a focus on heads of department and exec sponsors
Oversee launch of new clients onto Marin software
Ensure high client satisfaction at all times and demonstrate long term value of Marin partnership
Work with Marin developers and solution architects to understand any client custom requirements and deliver a commercially viable solution
Work with Client Services Managers and Analytics team to encourage full adoption of Marin application
Work with Client Services Managers to demo and train on new products and features
Keep up to date with all Marin product & feature developments and promote benefits to clients
Encourage feedback from clients, channel appropriately within Marin and follow actions to their conclusion
Identify and develop opportunities for revenue growth within existing client base
Negotiate commercial terms for renewal and new business opportunities
Forecast revenues from existing client base to feed into exec team business planning
Key Interdependent Relationships
Report to Commercial Director
Work alongside Project Managers and Professional Services for client launch and customisations
Work closely with sales team to understand potential new client relationships
Ongoing communication with Finance team to oversee commercials and invoicing
Regular feedback to Operations on client development requests
Required Qualifications
Excellent key account management experience
Proven track record generating revenues from existing clients and building long-term relationships
Experience of formulating client contracts and commercial models
Experience working with blue-chip clients and media agencies at a senior level
Excellent negotiation skills
Thorough understanding of and experience in search marketing
Good understanding of digital marketing including display, ad exchanges, and social media
Thorough understanding of digital tracking and analytics technologies
Understanding of software services businesses an advantage
Fluency in additional European language an advantage
Team management experience an advantage
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Quick to learn and apply knowledge to business situations
Compensation Full-time salaried position with incentive performance component. Compensation dependent on prior experience.
