Account Executive - Agency Sales - West Coast Medialets
THE POSITION
This position requires expertise in all aspects of the agency sales process ---from intensive prospecting, accurate forecasting, solution selling and strong closing abilities, to superior relationship building with customers through a detailed understanding of the clients business needs.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Medialets is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sales professional with the confidence, passion and drive necessary to enhance our companys success. The successful candidate will be able to evangelize our cool, engaging and uniquely effective ad-platform to agencies and advertisers, and to nurture agency and brand direct clients to garner increasing volumes every quarter.
The candidate will embrace the merger of web technology and mobile advertising and have a skill set that goes beyond the traditional digital media sales profile.
REQUIREMENTS:
Activities include identifying opportunities; building and sustaining relationships; negotiating deal terms and pricing; resolving concerns; closing the deal; ensuring client satisfaction and growing clients Medialets usage.
ABOUT YOU:
You have a proven success in selling rich media technology, mobile solutions or ad-serving technologies, and managing account strategy and developing advertising oriented solutions to client specific needs.
You have existing relationships with media buyers/planners at agencies and marketing managers at top brands to foster new relationships; penetrate new accounts and drive new business in the emerging mobile segment.
You have a deep passion for online marketing/networking and the power it has to change the way business is done.
You have the ability to effectively manage a large number of accounts concurrently.
MORE ABOUT YOU:
Minimum of 3 years digital media sales experience
Combination of agency and client side experience is strongly preferred
Proven ability to work with established brands and emerging companies to build integrated campaigns such as sponsorships, product placement, and scalable executions
Superior communication, questioning, listening and presentation skills
Ability to process information and incorporate feedback in an interactive business conversation
Disciplined work style with the ability to work independently and within a team
Strong team player who can wear many hats and always be part of the solution
Entrepreneurial style makes you effective at working remotely
Undergraduate degree required; preferably in business-related discipline.
