The primary responsibility of the Account Executive, Associate (AEA) is to partner with Principal Account Executives in selling FusionStorm products and services. AEAs are empowered to help & support the Sales process; making it easier for an Account Executive to manage and seek out multiple client opportunities while the AEA works on and coordinates any related activities or client needs. In addition, the AEA will be actively searching for new sales opportunities by developing relationships with new customers. The AEA will work with various internal Departments as well as external Vendors; and continually call on, track & pursue all ?working? sales opportunities in an effort to create continued satisfaction, assist in expanding any additional sales opportunities within the client, and seeking out clients. This position will report to a Principal Account Executive.
Responsibilities:
? Qualify leads for products and services by making outbound calls and prospective customers as requested by telephone and e-mail.
? Schedule and attend meetings with customers and prospective customers as requested.
? Coordinate various marketing fulfillment duties and systems, including direct mail, packages, letters, catalogs, and other sales literature.
? Maintain customer relationships by informing customers and prospective customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products; responding to customer inquiries, emphasizing sale-able features, quoting prices and credit terms; encouraging customers to buy; following up with potential/existing customers to assure satisfaction and solve/refer problems.
? Work with Account Executive(s) to keep account activities and literature up to date
? Maintain customer files with sales contract and other information.
Manage Existing Clients with Assigned Incumbent AE's: AEAs will assist in managing day to day activities, such as: pre-qualifying new opportunities within client infrastructure, coordinating internal resources for sales opportunities, order fulfillment tracking and confirmation, conducting "up-sell" call campaigns, managing Account Receivable issues, and scheduling/inviting Clients for key events. From time to time, the AEA will be required to provide Proposals/Quotations for less complex solutions, in lieu of the Inside Sales Rep.
Work independently to Identify and Qualify Net New Customers: To prepare themselves for an AE role, the AEA will spend approximately 30% to 40% of their time seeking out "new to FusionStorm" customers. This will be accomplished by: working from internal and external lists to conduct cold-call campaigns via telephone and email, interacting with partner manufacturer subsidized call campaigns and marketing efforts, and via networking with the field sales force and channel organizations of the partner community.
Seek guidance and mentorship from incumbent AE in order to build a client base and grow the individual business
Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.
Qualifications:
? 1-2 years of sales experience
? Bachelor?s degree preferred
? Technology background or experience is preferred
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
? Keen ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work.
? Must be highly organized.
? Professional self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively with others.
? Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and personal judgment
? Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet.
? Ability to travel to meetings. Must have a valid Driver?s License.
