Satmetrix is looking for an Account Executive for our mid-market product NPS GO! based in Atlanta.
A track record of high volume sales. This isn't an enterprise software sale where they sell 4 deals a year. We're looking at selling 2-3 deals per month.
Demo capability. The sales person will be expected to demonstrate the software over the web. Therefore, must have a track record of being able to assess needs over the phone prior to a demo, configure the appropriate sales pitch, present the software, and move to close.
Self-starter, motivated, hungry, etc. This job will definitely NOT suit a person that has been selling $1m+ enterprise license deals at a big firm e.g. Oracle, SAP, IBM, HP, etc. that is used to long sales cycles, having a lot of support and infrastructure, etc.
At least 3-5 years direct sales experience in mid-market software. Ideally, phone/web-based selling e.g. Sage, ADP, etc. The point being that they aren't afraid of picking up the phone and selling product.
A knowledge of the customer satisfaction/loyalty space
Experience in a SaaS environment e.g. Salesforce, Constant Contact, Netsuite, Vovici, etc.
Likes to work in a small team, make an impact, etc.
Excellent phone skills. Must be articulate.
Some travel is required.
Based in Atlanta; no relocation allowance is available.
Experience selling ASP solutions
Online marketing and/or customer community programs
CRM selling experience
Large company and start-up experience desired
Emerging market experience.
