We are currently recruiting for an Account Executive to drive the sale of Rogue Wave?s High Performance
Computing (HPC) software tools and components to system integrators in North America. We are looking for
someone who is a team player and willing to handle a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis. In addition to

Position Summary:
Under general supervision and acting on own initiative, manage and maintain current relationships with system
integrators-working in the aerospace and defense industries and seek new accounts through sales, marketing,
and referrals. Work requires some analysis and use of independent judgment with access to confidential and
highly complex information and contacts requiring considerable discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
Job Responsibilities:
? Build sales by prospecting, initiating contact and meeting with potential clients.
? Generate future income by nurturing existing customer relationships.
? Close sales, process orders, and prepare appropriate documentation.
? Handle inquiries generated by local and/or national advertising.
? Plan, develop and execute sales strategies to meet an established quota.
? Keep daily record of calls and information requests sent in company CRM.
? Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company.
? Maintaining account records including order history and forecasting.
? Expand customer base by identifying and selling to organizations that are not currently Rogue Wave
customers.
? Convey customer needs to product managers, development, and technical support staff.
? Promote, encourage, and maintain positive morale within the sales group.
? Facilitate communication via organizational channels; coordinate group efforts to improve these
communications.
? Provide superior customer service and satisfaction to all internal and external customers.
? Adhere to company values.
? Other duties may be assigned as necessary for the successful operation of business.
Business and Technical Competencies:
? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere.
? Exercise sound decision-making abilities
? Solid knowledge of product and technical terms used by customers in combination with Rogue Wave
products.
? Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills are required.
? Proficient with use of sales information databases and CRM system (MS Dynamics).
? Prior experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
? Must be able to make routine decisions without consulting management.
? Possess the ability to plan and organize many different tasks simultaneously.
Work Experience and Education:
College coursework required; BA or BS preferred with minimum 5 years of sales experience with demonstrable
success. Computer or High-Tech industry experience preferred. Understanding of software development
process, system integrators working in the aerospace and defense industries and/or telecommunications
business processes and systems; as well as high performance computing and data analytics is desirable.
