Position Summary:
The Kalido Account Executive will drive business opportunities for Kalido both directly and through our sales partners. In this role you will use your top-notch sales skills to generate leads and then, using your best sales strategies and sales skills, you will execute on closing opportunities. The Kalido Account Executive will need strong negotiating, planning, communication and customer relationship skills, as well an innate ability to manage and prioritize opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting / lead generation through multiple communication channels
- Develop and manage business plan for assigned territory
- Work with sales staff to qualify and prove opportunities for DW / BI / MDM and DG opportunities
- Communicate effectively with Kalido pre-sales team to prepare appropriate solution for prospect
- Prepare, present, and demonstrate Kalido products to prospective customers.
- Articulate Kalido benefits to prospect
- Manage Kalido resources to deliver solution message to client
- Mange complex sales cycle
- Stay current with the DW / BI / MDM / DG marketplace and competitive landscape
- Invoke value based selling or solution selling to manage sales cycle
- Create and present compelling, ROI oriented, business case to prospect
- On-going customer support and assistance
- Close deals that drive license, maintenance, training and services revenue for Kalido
- Respond to customer requests for information on Kalido solutions.
- Present solutions to C-level executives, line of business, and IT.
- Develop long-term sales strategy, territory management and develop partner relationships
- Prospect, develop, and close large-scale enterprise transactions, and manage relationships with internal team as well as external partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BS degree or equivalent experience in product applications, ability to understand and explain related technical issues, working knowledge of company products, all potential applications and effective communication skills.
- Five to seven (5-7) years in sales environment at BI / DW / MDM software vendor.
- Ten years of solution selling experience.
- Excellent presentation skills and poise.
- Strong experience in ETL, data warehousing, business intelligence and RBDMS.
- Preference for experience with Kalido.
- Experience positioning and selling high-value software consulting services.
- Experience selling software solutions.
- Functional knowledge in areas, such as data quality, data integration, data governance, and master data management.
- Ability to sell solutions which require a business case to be developed to support the solution.
- Trained in complex sales, solution selling or equivalent sales methodology.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to work with partners within a territory and sell independently.
- Experience selling Data Quality, Data Integration, Data Governance and Master Data Management solutions.
