About the Position
The Account Executive - Channel Sales will report directly to the Director, Channel Sales. This position will manage Emerging Partners assisting in the maintenance and growth of existing business opportunities, ensure proper partner enablement and maintain a high level of partner satisfaction.
Serve as main point of contact for all partner activities
Enforce program requirements
Handle the renewal lifecycle with partner
New Business Upsells, Upsells and Renewals
Negotiate as well as prepare pricing quotes for all new and existing deals
Field accounting/billing inquiries
Serve as escalation point for support and services related issues
Conflict management between expectations and reality and channel conflict between internal ET direct reps and other channel partners
Manage Security Audits and Request
Monitor email, mobile & sites utilization with partner and address appropriately
Manage the Partner Account Record, Opportunities and Leads within Salesforce.com
Manage pipeline and forecast to management via Forecast Policy
Manage internal marketing/channel program request: surveys, anniversary gifts, webinar lists, etc...
Identify growth accounts and work with manager on developing a growth plan for partner
Update manager on compliance issues/outstanding to do's around partner program
Build account and territory plan with manager to identify partner specific engagement/profile level
4 year college degree
Preferably one plus years of ExactTarget experience
Account management or development background
Thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Outstanding communication skills - written and verbal
Impeccable organizational skills
