Account Executive ON24
ON24 is a Silicon Valley-based software company and the global leader in webcasting and virtual events. Our solutions are used by some of the biggest companies in the world for initiatives like product launches, training, internal communications, conferences, demand generation, and executive announcements. We're currently hiring Account Executives to join our growing sales team in Charlotte.
The Account Executive is responsible for selling ON24 Webcast Elite, the fastest growing solution at ON24, in a specific geographical territory into companies that range primarily from $5M - $50M in annual revenues.

We are looking for Sales Account Executives that will manage their business professionally and continually strive to over-achieve quota. The Account Executive position requires a hunter mentality to find and cultivate new business. Sales experience and strong work ethic is a must. Strong sales performance is well compensated for team members that consistent with their activity, strategy, approach to the role, and attainment of their targets.
Prospect, secure meetings, and close new business by qualifying opportunities with key decision makers in enterprise companies. Decision makers include a wide range of marketing and demand generation titles, as well as corporate communications, training, IT, procurement and sales.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations.
Consult with prospects to determine the best solutions for their specific needs. Recommend solutions, prepare and present proposals and get contracts executed.
Achieve all individual activity and revenue targets set by the company. Activity expectations include:
30+ outbound calls/day
100+ web meetings/quarter with prospects & customers
Log sales activity (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, next steps) in salesforce.com
Attend weekly forecast calls between the Director of Corporate Sales and the Account Executive team. AE?s are expected to accurately forecast their business in pipeline, best case, and commit stages.
3-5 years of direct sales experience, ideally B2B sales at a software company. SaaS sales experience a plus; selling into corporate communications, marketing and/or training also preferred.
Demonstrated experience of being able to conduct online sales presentations, and product demonstrations.
Demonstrated experience in developing new business relationships with all levels of enterprise organizations; a true ?hunter? mentality who strives to close business with new companies while exceeding sales quotas.
Experience with tools such as SalesForce.com, InsideSales.com, ZoomInfo, Hoovers, and ?standard? Inside Sales tools.
Able to work in our Charlotte office and at times necessary to fit the time zone of the assigned territory. Team coverage spans West to East coast time zones.
Able to accurately forecast their business in pipeline, best case, and commit stages.
Strong technical aptitude.
Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management skills.
A Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Marketing, or related fields, or relevant experience.
