JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for selling Netformx products and subscription services to major accounts. You must have experience selling to the VP and C-level within the communications industry and be capable of building lasting strategic relationships with our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The principle responsibilities will be:
Sourcing, developing, and closing business for Netformx products within new major accounts.
Cultivating existing accounts by expanding the Netformx footprint to new product lines, entering new user communities, and increasing user adoption.
Establishing productive long-term relationships with our customers
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5-8 years? relevant communications sector sales experience. Strong knowledge of B2B network services and major vendor equipment will be an advantage. Major OEM, telco or integrator experience preferred.
Consultative Selling: Identifies & regularly communicates with all relevant customers contacts. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer's issues, challenges & business drivers in enterprise network sales process.
Questioning / Fact Finding: Accurately & consistently qualifies all sales opportunities. Employs a structured & effective approach when questioning/fact finding.
Communication: Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the customer needs. Communicates effectively both internally & externally. Understands the fundamental elements of communication, e.g. Face-to-Face, email, telephone, correspondence.
Presentation: Strong presentation skills. Able to construct / deliver effective presentations.
Negotiates / Gains commitment: Excellent negotiations skills. Understands effective negotiation techniques & seeks to apply them in most situations. Is alert to customer buying signals & identifies closing opportunities.
Account Planning & Management: Has detailed understanding of accounts & opportunities. Analyses/manages information to formulate effective strategies.
Risks management: Surface and handle risks as soon they are detected while religiously protecting the company?s interests.
Business Development: Recognizes & acts on opportunities; not afraid to call at the executive level. Consistently generates new opportunities. Gathers sufficient information to effect follow-up activities.
Customer / industry awareness: Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the customers? business/industry sector & environment. Full understanding of customers? business planning process. Identifies critical success factors & short/long term objectives.
Voice, Data & IP Products Product Knowledge: Able to handle basic product-related discussion with customer.
LOCATION:
East Coast. Candidates who live close to major communications providers are ideal.
This position is not open for relocation.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
