We are seeking a hard working individual to develop Zipcar?s Fast Fleet business by managing lead generation, sales, and channel efforts nationwide. Fast Fleet is Zipcar?s vehicle sharing platform offered to government and business fleet operators, provided as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.
This is a consultative leadership opportunity with specific focus on strategic sales. The successful candidate will be expected to prospect, develop leads, and present the Zipcar Fast Fleet solution. This individual contributor will build relationships with management and lines of business, qualify challenges associated with delivering employee transportation, propose leading edge alternatives, and close business on a quarterly basis.
Build a robust sales pipeline by developing relationships with prospects and maintaining contact and rapport with customers.
Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets by executing against a national territory plan.
Prepare and present proposals and responses to RFP/Q.
Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically, developing strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout the sales process.
Develop and work with channel partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
Attend and present at conferences and trade shows
Bachelor?s degree required.
3-5 years of documented success in a strategic sales role
Experience with lengthy, consultative sales cycles and approach.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Experience selling enterprise class software solutions and/or services, or SaaS solutions a plus.
Experience selling to federal, state, and local government a plus.
Channel partner development and management a plus.
