The Account Executive will be responsible for the sale of Clarabridge?s software products and services into a variety of accounts within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of selling enterprise application software sales, such as business analytics, decision analytics, VOC, CEM or social at the Saas or enterprise. into Global 2000 companies. The candidate must have verifiable experience driving and closing large, complex enterprise software and services engagements, with a forward-thinking approach to solving business issues and strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and personally undertake sales activities from initial prospecting and opportunity identification, all the way to sale closure and post sale relationships. This will include creating a high volume of activity and client face to face meetings.
Manage complex sales cycles while articulating and presenting the value & ROI delivered by the Clarabridge solution to various levels up the chain within prospect organizations to ensure sales success
Develop a pipeline of opportunities, forecast accurately, and deliver results meeting or exceeding goals quarterly and annually
Present detailed reports to management regarding sales and marketing activities and success rates on a regular basis
Maintain a solid knowledge of Clarabridge?s underlying technology, the range of existing products and consulting services
Represent Clarabridge at trade shows, conferences, industry meetings and other avenues to initiate sales of the Company?s products
Travel as necessary within assigned territory
Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree or higher education
5-10 years experience selling into Financial Services Companies
Knowledge in banking and financial services regulations, trends and issues
Successful experience direct field sales with a quota of $1.5-2.5M
A highly successful track record of calling on and closing transactions with business executives
The ability to work well in an entrepreneurial environment and "wear multiple" hats when necessary
Demonstrated ability to articulate business value and vision to sell enterprise software solutions. Solution selling experience is a must.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, lean team environment. Startup experience is a plus.
Knowledge of and contacts within key sectors is a plus
