Account Executive - Healthcare Markets (ZH) Health Market Science
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Responsible for sales of all products to defined accounts. Reports to the SVP, Healthcare Markets. Develops strategies and applies tactics to achieve defined goals/quota.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Healthcare Markets, coordinates the overall account management for the Key Customers to whom they are assigned.
Responsible for developing business with clients and prospects west of the Mississippi River and others as assigned.
Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives, Defend existing revenues, Growing and expanding in-line products and Solving key business Pains in alignment with the individual LOB revenue goals.
Build, maintain and execute accurate and up to date account plans, opportunity tracking within salesforce.com.
Ensure that products and services from each Line of Business are being represented, proposed and closed at each account as appropriate.
Partner with clients through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution.
Monitoring the quality of products and services for maximum customer satisfaction
Work with operations and project teams on all projects to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and communicated.
At each Key Customer, maximize total booked revenue and quarterly revenue recognition across all products and services
Implement and manage the execution and renewal of Master Service Agreements and complex contracts.
Facilitate appropriate internal escalation of all customer issues.
Manage existing contracts, renewals and accounts receivables to assure HMS limits any liabilities.
Job Requirements :
A Bachelor?s degree in a related field of Business or Marketing is preferred and MBA is a plus. A minimum of 10+ years outside sales experience is required. Sales experience in selling complex information products and solutions.
Candidates should be self-motivated with demonstrated sales ability and a proven record of key customer development and quota overachievement. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Frequent travel required.

Demonstrated sales success and knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques.
In-depth knowledge of products and services.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence,
negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
Ability to develop strong business relationships within all levels of organizations, including senior level executives.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
