Account Executive - Inside Sales SciQuest

SciQuest currently has an opening for an Account Executive ? Inside to drive SciQuest solutions and licensing into new and existing accounts. This is an inside sales role. This position carries quarterly and annual quotas.

Manage and close SciQuest sales opportunities through opportunity management, account resource allocation, account strategy and planning, and forecasting
Sell the value of SciQuest applications to executive decision makers
Generate leads and drive sales over the internet through web based discovery calls and presentations
Identify new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance
Develop account penetration strategies
Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities and selling SciQuest products and services.
Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns to the SciQuest Applications install base accounts
Collaborate with the Field Sales team on sales strategy
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors, industry trends
Bachelor?s degree preferred
2 years of relevant experience
Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers
Ability to work independently
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
Demonstrated knowledge of software sales
Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects
