Job Summary: This inside sales role will be focused on driving sales and adoption of the K-12 Educate online school store product, WebStore into an already existing Active Network customer base. Active Network, Educate clients include public school districts, high schools, middle schools and elementary schools across the country that currently use our Blue Bear accounting software within their schools.
The candidate will be responsible for all stages of the sales life cycle, including: client research, account strategy, prospecting, developing consumer rapport, product demos, closing and providing client service (individually and with team support). Job requires proactive, phone and email sales to school administrators, such as Principals, school bankers/bookkeepers, and PTA and Booster Club presidents.
The ideal candidate will have the skill set and desire to plan and manage his/her own business, with an internal support team, in a results driven environment. Key performance indicators include, hitting monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets.
This position will be located in San Diego, CA with minimal travel
Responsibilities:
- Attainment of Sales Quota and new store adoption expectations
- Daily / weekly / monthly progress to activity milestones and goal attainment
- Company research and account strategy
- Developing client rapport and relationships
- Effectively coordinate all aspects of the sales from start to finish
- Create and conduct customer presentations and proposals as needed
- Work in conjunction with other team members
- Trade show / conference attendance
- Enter and maintain all sales and client information into CRM
Experience / Key Traits:
- 3-5 years demonstrated track record of sales quota achievement
- BA/BS or higher, required
- Sales experience with intangible/service based offering
- Sales experience with quality/price leader preferred
- Knowledge of education field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlookt, etc.)
- Self-starter and independently motivated
- Able to work/learn in fast paced environment
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial drive and creative thinking
- Smart, enthusiastic and self-confident
