Responsible for sales of all HMS products and services defined accounts. Develops strategies and applies tactics to achieve defined goals/quota.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Responsible for managing a portfolio of 50+ accounts in the life sciences sector. This includes development of new business and growth of existing business. Build and maintain relationships from the operational through the ?C? level.
Work closely with the internal subject matter experts (SME), product management and delivery teams.
Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives.
Build, maintain and execute accurate account plans.
Keep Sales Force.Com updated on a daily basis. Contract Value, Close Dates, % Confidence and Sales Cycle stage must be accurately represented.
Forecast accurately.
Work collaboratively with Life Sciences data, technology and consulting partners.
Proactively suggest ways to improve the HMS sales, delivery, product development and contracting processes.
Partner with clients through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution.
Consult with other Account Executives to share ?best practices? across Life Science clients.
Maximize business opportunities by working closely with the sales support, inside sales, delivery, product management and sales operations teams to develop creative solutions addressing customer needs.
Work with delivery teams to ensure customer expectations are clearly understood.
Work closely with Finance and Sales Operations during the contracting process to manage the execution and renewal of Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work.
Facilitate internal escalation of all customer issues.
Manage existing contracts, renewals and accounts receivables.
Complete and submit expense reports on a timely basis.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor?s degree in a related field of Business or Marketing is preferred and MBA is a plus.
A minimum of 7+ years outside sales experience is required.
Sales experience selling complex solutions, preferably in the Life Sciences segment is also preferred.
Candidates should be self-motivated with demonstrated sales ability and a proven record of client development and quota achievement.
Strong oral and written communication skills required.
50% Travel Required.

Demonstrated skills in organization group process, problem identification and resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Allocates decision making authority and/or task responsibilities to others to maximize the organizations? and individuals' effectiveness.
