ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - LIFE SCIENCES/MDM Health Market Science
As a member of the Life Sciences sales team, the Account Executive will provide the means for Health Market Science to meet and exceed its Sales objectives through prospecting and selling the HMS MDM Solution Suite to the identified customer base.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Be an expert in the HMS MDM Solution Suite and sell into designated account territory
Development of plans for each account working with Account Executive and product SME?s.
Tracking of account personnel (e.g. decision makers, influencers, etc.) and activity in SalesForce.com system
Writing of proposals and contracts
Work closely with designated marketing and technical contacts to ensure proper marketing and presentation material and target and attend relevant industry conferences
Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the competitive marketplace
As appropriate develop and work with channel partners to extend product suite reach
Insuring a smooth transition of sold projects to the Client Services group to include all appropriate documentation, discussions and client interfaces
Provide feedback to the COO and product team for product defects, product enhancements, and new products
Insuring compliance with all company policies
Any other tasks assigned by the company from time to time
7-10 years outside sales experience is required. Sales experience in selling MDM complex information products and solutions.
Strong functional understanding of MDM solutions: customer master, data warehouses, business intelligence tools
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain poise.
Successful track record of selling claims and/or patent data or services Pharmaceutical or Medical Device organizations required
Ability to work as a team to effectively meet customer requirements and realistic timelines for delivery of products.
