MuleSoft seeks a high-energy, execution-oriented Account Executive to drive revenue.
The Account Executive will take ownership of revenue generation, develop new opportunities, manage pipeline, create & execute account strategies, close enterprise-level deals, and manage subscription renewals and up-sell for our award winning and industry leading software and integration platform. The ideal candidate will possess the intelligence and aptitude to position the benefits of enterprise infrastructure software, as well as the strategic thinking to drive a complex enterprise sales process. Strong track record of success is a must.
As Account Executive, you will sell enterprise software built on the leading open source infrastructure products, Mule ESB and Apache Tomcat. You must be experienced and comfortable with a corporate sales model â€" primarily phone and internet based. You will be targeting an audience consisting of IT architects and developers â€" generating interest, qualifying prospects, articulating solutions and closing deals. You must also possess the intelligence and aptitude to position the benefits of enterprise infrastructure software, as well as the strategic thinking to drive a complex enterprise sales process.
Role and Responsibilities:- Inbound lead follow-up and lead development
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads
- Conduct product demos for qualified customers
- Forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments
- Build client rapport, and communicate solution values of products and services
- Meet/exceed assigned revenue goals
Requirements:- Fluent in English and German
- Consistent track record of selling over quota
- Consistent track record of achievement in sales environments
- Consistent track record of developing new business and managing existing accounts
- Consistent track record of managing sales cycle, from generating leads through closing
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ideal Candidate:- Has successful software sales experience, open source sales experience
Education:Bachelor's Degree required
