Veeva Systems is revolutionizing the regulated content management software market for life sciences. The Veeva Team is looking for experienced Account Executives to drive sales for our new, cloud-based, life sciences content management product ? Veeva Vault. Vault solves the complex content management challenges facing life sciences organizations today by combining streamlined functionality for compliance and collaboration with the flexibility and cost effectiveness of a cloud computing-based solution. As an Account Executive for Vault, you will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities, winning new business and managing relationships with medium to large customers. Creativity, energy and the ability to work effectively within a growing team are critical. Ideally, we are looking for candidates in the greater New York City area, Chicago or San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Understand and present the Veeva Vault product and inspire prospect interest
Manage relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT and C level
Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
Be willing to travel
Skills:
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Experience selling to Pharma/Biotech companies preferred
Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A passion for solving people?s business problems
Experience:
3-5 years experience selling enterprise software and related services into complex environments
Experience working successfully in a rapidly changing environment
4 year degree required
Strong understanding of content management challenges in the life sciences industry is desired
Experience with OpenText, Documentum / EMC, Liquent and / or Next Docs is a plus
