As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating new revenues from prospective customers in conjunction with growing existing revenues through effective sales performance as a business solutions expert. Along with the System Engineer, you will coordinate internal resources to deliver solutions designed to solve customer problems, and manage and deliver customer satisfaction within assigned sales territory.
This job is an individual contributor level field sales position. It is a career advancement opportunity for individuals who have demonstrated consistently superior performance and results over an average of one to three years of inside sales experience or comparable external experience.
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual assigned revenue target.
Identify and qualify new end user account prospects within assigned territory.
Generate new named accounts (NNMs) independently and jointly with the Inside Sales Team.
Sell storage and Information Risk Management solutions that address end-user business issues.
Act as a business solutions expert, understanding customer issues and utilizing consultative selling tactics.
Manage and oversee the quality of evaluation and demonstration systems that are installed within assigned territory.
Leverage extended resources to expand the customer?s use of X-IO?s products. Work strategically with X-IO?s National or Government Account Managers to ensure consistent and professional representation in the market.
Keep X-IO management abreast of regional market conditions, competitive activity and opportunities.
Produce timely reporting for management as required.
Attend national, regional and local trade shows and sales meetings as required.
A bachelor?s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Working level knowledge of MS Office suite and Contact Management systems. Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and storage systems
