We are seeking a Account Executive Mobile Sales. Under administrative supervision, represent the medical care program to hospitals, physicians, chiropractors, HMOs, PPOs, employer groups, brokers, employees, and members of the community to increase revenues and market share in the company?s strategic markets.
Examples of Essential Functions:
Follow through on qualified leads via telephone, correspondence, or personal meetings. Develop proposals and presentations for the prospect, obtain commitment to enroll, and follow through to ensure maximum enrollment potential and effective transition of responsibility to the appropriate company representative.
Identify prospective provider. Prospect and cold call to schedule initial meeting. Evaluate the group?s needs, and enrollment potential.
Serve as a representative of the company within the community through public speaking engagements, membership in civic organizations, and participation in trade shows, health fairs, and other community activities.
Develop extensive knowledge of the health care industry, local competition, and health plan policies, procedures, and organization.
Monitor the marketplace or territory on a continuing basis to assess competition, economic changes and other activities which might affect the enrollment effort. Report these assessments to the supervisor.
Work with the broker community as a partner in selling InSight?s products and services. Work with other departments and staff on marketing and acquisition programs and activities.
Maintain records of prospective contacts, call reports, territory/account profiles, expense reports and other various required records.
Requirements
Candidates must have:
Associates Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Five years previous sales experience, preferably in healthcare.
Desirable:
A Bachelor?s Degree in marketing, business, health care or related field.
Knowledge:
General knowledge of medical billing/collection procedures.
Medical terminology.
Customer service principles and techniques.
Sales and marketing principles and techniques.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Possess demonstrated interpersonal, public speaking, and sales skills.
Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
Mature judgement, self-motivated, and the ability to work independently.
Schedule, organize and complete work in accordance with deadlines.
Plan, establish and evaluate the attainment of sales/marketing goals.
Analyze, monitor and control budget expenditures.
Special Requirements/Certification:
May require extensive travel.
