The Account Executive , Mobile Sales will be responsible for growing and developing mobile and tablet revenue from Kontera?s existing and new brand clients and agencies in the US. The desired candidate will be established in the mobile advertising space, preferably with solid agency experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, Personal Computing, Technology and Auto verticals. The optimal candidate will be Ad Tech savvy, have solid working knowledge of Mobile Web and Apps, and excited by contributing to the growth of our innovative mobile and Tablet network products. Must be comfortable selling to all levels and navigating within agencies and to brand direct. Those who relish a small team, ?make-it-happen? growth environment will thrive.
This position is based in New York but some travel may be required as needed.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Evangelize and communicate Kontera?s industry recognized content based Mobile Web and Tablet advertising products and network to Kontera?s premier roster of existing agencies and brand marketer clients
Open and develop new relationships with Mobile and Digital Agency Executives , Strategists, Planners and Buyers
Utilizing a strong understanding of client's digital marketing and campaign objectives, develop and sell in Kontera's mobile network advertising solutions
Plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings and sales strategies with prospects and existing clients
Aggressively prospect, evaluate and develop new sales opportunities to closure
Bundle our Mobile solutions with our Display and Social products for comprehensive media solutions
Build strong internal relationships with Sales Executives, Account Managers, Product ,Marketing and Company Executives to help grow market penetration of Kontera?s mobile product line
3 to 5+ years of proven online top tier ad sales experience calling on agencies and clients
2+ years mobile ad sales experience
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding goals and quotas
In-depth knowledge and contacts with top mobile agencies and advertisers
Excellent understanding of agency dynamics; and campaign planning and buying
Superior skills in all facets of the digital advertising sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell media solutions
In depth product understanding of the mobile ad space.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven success in consultative selling
Proactive, driven, self-thinker with gravitas who strives for results while contributing to the team
