Why you? Why now? AKA the Job Description: The primary function of a PulsePoint Account Executive is to completely understand, creatively position and intelligently execute ad campaigns for our full product line. The role is much more dynamic than just hitting targets.
You will be connecting with what is, essentially, the entire industry: agencies, brands, DSP?s and ATD?s.
Candidates must have sales or industry experience with existing relationships within our field (or familiarity in developing these relationships) and strong presentation skills (like, a lot better than this).
This key player must have the ability to discern client?s needs, thus, presenting new solutions with intelligence and originality.
An ideal account executive will be a creative thinker who makes long-term contributions both to the organization as a whole, as well as the sales team?s development. He or she should enhance PulsePoint ?s navigation through the ever-changing digital media landscape. Think entrepreneurial mind with a scrappy, inventive spirit.
Essentially, we want people that are smart, can think fast and approach each day with
Sales or industry experience in the online advertising
Understanding of multi-platform products (display, social, mobile, data)
Proven track record of successful selling and working day-to-day with clients
Solid presentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest and ability to entertain clients
Consultative skills to develop creative solutions for clients
Track record of success in identifying and closing new business opportunities
Intrinsically motivated but also enjoys working with a team
Experience networking and establishing new relationships with key players at agencies and brands
Strong MS Office skills (Word/ PowerPoint/ Excel)
A track record of success in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment
Creative thinker with the ability to make a long-term contribution to the organization and department's development
