Job Summary:
The Account Executive is directly responsible for sales in two key categories:
(1) Defined list of target companies in the U.K. market, managing all incoming leads and direct communication with all prospects. - Candidate must be able to travel to the U.K.
(2) U.S. based manufacturers in specific key industries/categories.
This position will report to the VP of Sales.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading day-to-day sales process for assigned U.K. and U.S. lead categories.
Responding directly to all sales leads and initiating next steps in the sales process.
Cooperating with Account Managers and VP of Sales to determine essential strategic sales tactics to develop leads and drive sales.
Participating in sales department meetings concerning lead generation, target account development, sales forecasts, market analyses.
Inbound account management.
Maintaining and expanding prospect database.
Coordinating with appropriate internal support teams to ensure service commitments to clients are delivered on a timely basis.
Providing effective product demos for end-user customers.
Creating and delivering professional in-person or virtual (i.e. Webex) presentations and proposals.
Qualifications:
Ability to work non-conventional hours in order to engage with U.K. market
Relevant experience either in media (i.e. ad agency experience) or sales (with demonstrated success in current sales role).
Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
Must be a competent presenter.
Should be honest, assertive and systematic.
Highly energetic and self-starter.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong organization and presentation skills.
Strong computer skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with sales force automation software, like Salesforce.com or similar.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
